At Pathways Therapy we value a client-centered approach to treatment.  We work with you in order to help you achieve your goals and work on what is important to you. After we complete your evaluation we will review the problem areas that therapy can address.  Together, we will identify your goals and treatment options and decide how often treatment will occur.

We strive to use treatment approaches which have been supported by research.  We are committed to ongoing post graduate education in order to ensure that we are providing the highest quality service possible.

Pathways Therapy is an independent therapist-owned company. We receive referrals from a variety of sources including individuals and their families, insurance companies, case managers, doctors and lawyers. Our primary relationship however, is with you, our client. We are bound by our professional codes of ethics and our regulatory colleges to conduct unbiased assessments.  Your therapist will also reassess your status during the treatment period in order to determine changes you have made. Throughout treatment your therapist will explain what they are doing and why.

In order to provide you with the best possible care, we need to communicate with other professionals involved in your care.  We will obtain your consent prior to initiating any written or verbal communication. If you have been in a motor vehicle accident, reports and other insurance forms are often required by the insurance company in order for them to fund your treatment. We will get your permission to send these reports out and will provide you with a copy as well.

For administrative reasons Pathways Therapy staff may have access to your file. All employees of Pathways Therapy are bound by a confidentiality agreement.

We strive to be flexible and accommodating to your needs and schedule.
